Q: How does the contract/agreement work following the initial consultation?
A: Following the initial consultation, if you decide to work with me, it’s important that we both know what we are signing up to and agree to abide by the terms. I will give you a simple contract which outlines the arrangement between us.
Q: How much do the sessions cost?
A: My fees are as follows:
Initial 50 minute consultation session: FREE.
Ongoing sessions (50 minutes): £60.
A selected number of sessions are available each week at reduced cost to clients on a low income.
Q: When can the sessions be booked?
A: Details for booking sessions are as follows:
Time | Day | Fee per session |
8.00am – 9.00pm | Tuesday – Thursday | £60 |
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: If a session is cancelled with more than 48 hours notice, no charge will be made.
Q: How many sessions will I need?
A: When starting therapy, clients often ask how many sessions I think will be needed. I generally work either on a short term basis (8-12 sessions) or a long term basis (1 year/open ended). We will of course discuss this at the beginning and this will be regularly reviewed as we proceed through the term. How long we work together would be dictated to a large extent by the nature of the issues you want to address and how useful you are finding the work.
Q: Can I stop therapy before the agreed term?
A: The end of the contract can be considered at any time, but will be negotiated with 4 weeks prior notice. This allows for a proper ending to an important piece of work.
